Get the current DPF Sound plugin version.

Returns:

str

The DPF Sound plugin version in the form YEAR.MAJOR.MINOR, for example “2026.1.0”.

Return type:

str

Notes

This function requires DPF Sound plugin version 2027.1.0 or higher.
